Congratulations to our new Panel 64 Group Representatives (GRs) and Alternate Group Representatives (Alt GRs). Click the links below to find three documents that may help you in your new role. If you have questions on any of these, please reach out to anyone at the District Level. You should be receiving e-mails from the DR. All the District e-mail addresses are attached to those e-mails.
1. Get to know all the items listed on this Member's Page.
2. Recommend to your group that they visit www.jaxafg.org. It's full of useful information about District 3. The most current meeting information is available there. And the website also contains links to loads more information, like our newsletter "Sharings," and special Events taking place in our District, Area, and even worldwide!
3. What is the "Forum" Magazine?
- According to "Groups at Work," one of the responsibilities of the GR is to encourage Members to subscribe to the "Forum."
- Printing of the "Forum" is one of the ways our WSO gets revenue.
- Once the member has read their copy, they can hand it on as an outreach tool.
4. All District e-mail concerns should be addressed to the Technology Chairperson at technology@jaxafg.org.
5. GRs represent their group by voting on topics at District meetings that affect the groups in District 3. GRs also attend Assembly and vote on topics that affect North Florida Area 9 Al-Anon. Prior to District meetings, Panel members submit their reports so everyone can be informed about topics that will be discussed at the District meeting. GR's as well as all panel members should read each of these reports. They are listed under the District Reports area on the Member's tab.
